AU where kiri gets hit by a quirk that turns him into a doggo and even though he tries to go to his friends to tell them that he’s now a dog, he can’t talk so everyone just thinks he’s a dog that’s lingering around the school.

Two days pass and the school reports Kiri as missing and all his friends are worried about him while also constantly speculating what could’ve happened to him. Also, none of the teachers have the heart to shoo dog!kiri away so they let him chill on the school grounds since all the kids seem to be fond of him. And especially with the whole Kiri being missing thing, they need some positivity in their lives. They let Dog!Kiri roam around the dorms and halls and everyone feeds him and pets him. And he eventually gives up trying to warn everyone and decides to just wait until the quirk effect fades.

He sees how Bakugou is quiet. Very quiet and has angry outbursts when he overhears his classmates talking about Kiri and who could’ve possibly kidnapped him. He doesn’t talk to anyone. He doesn’t even taunt Izuku and Kiri gets worried and follows him to the front of his room. He chills there in the mornings and nights outside his door since Bakugou won’t let him in, until he finally gives in to Kiri’s constant barking one night and opens his door. He tells Kiri not to jump on the bed but he does anyway, and he sleeps with Bakugou.

This happens for a few days and Bakugou starts venting to him about how fucking stupid his classmates are for thinking that Kirishima would let himself get kidnapped that easily without a fucking fight. As if he were weak “or some shit”. And Kiri is very fond and now knows that he’s worried. And Bakugou even reveals about his “stupid crush” on him. And Kiri really wants the quirk effect to fade already gdi.

And so after about a week and a half, Bakugou wakes up and feels a head on his chest and a very human Kiri sleeping on him.

He screams, Kiri screams, and everything starts to click.

And Bakugou later realizes that he basically confessed to Kiri and they start dating the next week lmao.
