Knew it was gonna be a dumpster fire.

Still, I never thought they would do what they did to Allura.

I unfortunately expected them to disregard everything they’d done to Lance and what he’s been through.

And really, all of them were done a disservice in some way.

Friends, we always pull shit out of the fire. Our fanon universe is so much more interesting and rich. We care about these characters so much and we do our best to treat them and every aspect of them with respect and love. I started shipping Klance long before I saw the show because the art and the writing and everything about it was done with such care and beauty.

WE keep ships, hell, entire FANDOMS alive by actively ignoring Canon. We’ve done it for years and we will continue to do so. Keep fighting for better rep. Keep fighting for better writing. But always remember it’s US who decide when something lives or dies in the worlds we hold in our hearts.

That moment when you’ve got a bang ass song on, and a task to finish and some asshole apparently can’t take the hint and decides to talk OVER YOUR MUSIC so you sit there stubbornly on hold because you’re gonna appreciate that song right no matter what.

Idk how to handle people in new relationships and I’m not sure why I’m always dragged around or in the middle of couples. Like I am half of a couple, but my husband never has to deal with the nasty ooey gooey phase of other humans like yes go on be happy but I really don’t have to be there to see you licking outside each other’s mouths TBH I’m good really 😐

Every time I dare to venture back on FF.net for anything, I remember how happy I am that we fanfic writers decided as a community to stop using rape/non-con as a plot device in every frickin thing.
